I tried that and it just made twitch refuse to see Minecraft as installed at all. I did the flipping between tabs and restarting tricks that worked earlier in the year, and still it did not see Minecraft as installed. Switched back to the jar launcher and then twitch can see Minecraft again. Cannot download modpacks from Twitch anymore I am trying to download AoE but it always says Cannot Find Child Addoon when it gets near to the end of downloading the mods. I tried getting the zip file from curse and importing it but that did not work either so I am kind of at a lost and I really want to play this pack. Go search forge in your browser and find the forge main page with all the downloads. Then find the version you want to install forge on to and select the "Installer" and download that. Now run the installer and forge will be installed. Depends on what you really want of course but it is really easy to do and you don't have to rely on modpacks or Twitch to have fun with mods once you know how to setup a modloader no matter the version of Minecraft 1.6.4+ (pointing out 1.6 due to how the Vanilla Launcher and otherwise can work with Forge as 1.5.2 and prior have core mod folders I can't download any mod from the CurseForge site. To be clear, I am not attempting to download a modpack, just a mod. Every time I click on the download button and the time when the download should pop up, this message appears:
